Teaching Duties:

ANSC 212: Applied Animal Physiology
Prerequisites: ANSC 211 or equivalent
The systemic physiology of domestic species with emphasis on functions related to production, and the physiological adaptation to environmental influences.

ANSC 214: Applied Animal Physiology Laboratory
Pre- or Corequisites: ANSC 212.
Three hours of laboratory per week. Application of physiological laboratory techniques to laboratory and domestic animals. Co-taught with Dr. Tom Porter. (Click for the course syllabus )

ANSC 305: Companion Animal Care
Prerequisites: BSCI 105.
Care and management of companion small animals. Three credit lecture course with occasional guest lectures.

ANSC 446: Physiology of Mammalian Reproduction
Prerequisites: BSCI 440 or ANSC 212
Anatomy and physiology of reproductive processes in domesticated and wild mammals. Co-taught with Dr. Mary Ann Ottinger. (Click for the course syllabus)

ANSC 447: Physiology of Mammalian Reproduction Laboratory
Pre- or Corequisites: ANSC 446.
Three hours of laboratory per week. Animal handling, artificial insemination procedures and analytical techniques useful in animal management and reproductive research. Co-taught with Dr. Carol Keefer. (Click for the course syllabus)
