At the AGNR Alumni Celebration held on April 16, 2013 at the Riggs Alumni Center, April Hall Barczewski received the award for Outstanding Alumnus - Early Career. She is a 1999 graduate from the department and a senior agent in University of Maryland Extension (UME). She is a 4-H Youth Development Educator for UME in Cecil County. April coaches Dairy Bowl teams and is one of the founders of AGsploration: The Science of Maryland Agriculture.
